I am attending a symposium on Friday & Saturday here at BC, with the hope of establishing some answers to key questions regarding AI which I have been pondering and working on recently. Specifically:
- Like previous jumps in mechanization and technological innovations, will this next, 4th Industrial Revolution help create new and different jobs, as has been the case in the past?
- Can mankind withstand this round of innovation from a standpoint of a Real Living Wage?
- Does AI reduce the meaning in man’s life, so that the basis of dignity through work is damaged?
- Is Agriculture on the forefront of AI to the point of automation?
More questions later…MZ
